Our History
A Legacy of Faith & Service
King of Kings University is a faith-based and nonprofit University targeting Congregation Pastors, local leaders and the most disadvantaged individuals to attain their goals. The Spirit-empowered, evangelical university is located in Ethiopia and South Sudan.
King of Kings University offers students a complete educational experience by combining higher education with practical ministry experience within dynamic local congregations. This complete educational experience prepares and equips students to serve in the local congregation, the marketplace and around the world. In addition, we offer various secular courses in various fields.
KKU has grown into a comprehensive university with six academic departments, 23+ degree programs, 17+ diploma courses, and 19 specialized short courses — serving students across multiple states, Ethiopia, South Sudan, and online.

Juba Campus Opened — Three Locations
KKU established its primary campuses in Juba at Mangateen, Sherkat (Episcopal Church of South Sudan), and City Mall — bringing higher education to the heart of the capital.

We believe in the plenary verbal inspiration of the Bible — the completed canon of the Old and New Testaments, inerrant in the original manuscripts and infallible in its truth for faith and life.
We believe in the Gospel of salvation through the Cross — that humankind is lost without Jesus the Savior, whose atoning blood and substitutionary death alone provide forgiveness and eternal life.
